Second round OAKS TESTING SCHEDULE
(Subject to Change)

Tag Students, check out this great opportunity:

The ACADEMY program has long been recognized as an outstanding educational opportunity for students in the Pacific Northwest.  Students selected for each residential session held on the Southern Oregon University campus in Ashland interact with peers of similar abilities while being challenged by creative, imaginative instructors and activities. Students also attend a play at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Based on the popular children's book by E.B. White and adapted for the stage by Joseph Robinette, this family show tells the story of a mouse named Stuart Little and his adventures after being adopted by a human family in New York City.

Told in the "story theatre" style, this show is perfect for young children but also has humor that adults can enjoy.  Join Stuart as he races a sailboat in the Central Park boat pond, saves his friend Margalo the bird from the nasty cat Snowbell, teaches a schoolroom of children, drives a miniature car on the streets of New York and sets off on a great adventure to discover the world.

Presented in our Main Stage Theatre on May 22, 23, 24, 25, 2013 at 7:30pm

All students in grades 3-8 participate in the statewide Oregon Assessments of Knowledge and Skills test (OAKS) in the areas of Reading, Math and Science (5th grade).  Click the links to view the monthly schedules for testing (these are subject to change). Please make sure that your child is getting enough sleep, has a good breakfast, and is present at school during their class testing times. *Students who did not Meet or Exceed State Standard scores will have this second opportunity to improve their scores. Everyone has worked so hard this year, keep up the good work!
